I take care of the earth because
I know I can do little things every
day to make a BIG difference
I use both sides of the paper
and bring my own bags
to the market because...
I love the trees
and I want the owls to have
a place to live.
I turn off the faucet
while I brush my teeth
and use less water
for my baths because...
I love the fish
and I want the oceans to stay blue.
I take the school bus
and ride my bike because...
I love the stars and I want the air
to be clear so I can see them sparkle.
I try to eat every bite on my plate
and save my leftovers because...
I love watching things grow
and I want there to be
enoughfood for everyone.
I remember to turn off the lights
and shut the refrigerator
to save energy because...
I love the polar bears
and I want the snowmen to stay cool.
I throw garbage in the trash can
and recycle glass, aluminum,
paper, and plastic because...
I love to walk barefoot in the grass
and Idon´t want to move to Mars!
Most of all, I help take care
of the earth because...
I want as ALL to be happy and healthy!
Every one of us can
 help protect the
 earth and make it feel good.

Caperucita era una niña que quería mucho a su abuelita, y un día su madre le dio una cesta llena de comida para que llevara la merienda a la abuelita , que vivía en una casa en el bosque, porque estaba enferma.

Caperucita se encontró con un lobo feroz en el camino que la retó a correr una carrera hacia la abuelita. Le dijo que había dos caminos, uno largo y uno corto. Le dijo a Caperucita que ella tomara el corto y que él tomaría el largo, pero el muy astuto le enseñó los caminos al revés y Caperucita, sin saberlo, tomó el camino largo. El Lobo, llegó antes a la casa, se hizo pasar por Caperucita y ante la puerta preguntó si podía pasar. La abuela le dijo que pasara, que la puerta estaba abierta, el Lobo Feroz entró y se comió a la abuela de un solo bocado, se puso la ropa para hacerse pasar por ella y se metió en la cama para esperar a Caperucita.

Una vez que Caperucita llegó a la casa, empezó a hablar con quien creía que era la abuelita (que en realidad era el lobo).

Se trata de una oruga que tiene mucha hambre, el lunes comió una manzana, el martes comió dos peras el miércoles comió tres ciruelas, cada día va teniendo más hambre y va comiendo cada vez más comida, se construyó  una casa hizo un agujero y se convirtió en una mariposa preciosa.
